Holiday cards are stuffed. Addresses are stamped. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Anyone else put the whole family to work on these? I do!!! Even the 3 year old has a job. It gives them some perspective on how much effort *holiday magic* takes to pull off. One of our biggest mottos as a family is team work makes the dream work! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What is something you are doing, unseen in the background, that you could pull your loved ones into? We create a little assembly line and I love it! I feel seen and cared for rather than some elf they expect something from.
Man! I had this on repeat earlier in the week. There really are some days where I have to talk through my mindset. It can change how I see things and certainly can change how I respond to things! It’s not always easy but it’s a major sign of power. Self-control IS power. That’s why I have outlets for my frustrations. I love talking things out with my husband and closest friends. And sometimes, I just need to crawl in bed and cry. As a wedding planner, we are often punching bags. But people are watching how we respond. Your response means EVERYthing for your business. When vendors see you respond well to things, they are far more likely to refer you. It’s relaxing and easy to fall into the temptation of venting to them because “they get it” but asses how many people you lean on in that way. What reputation are you growing? What patterns are they seeing? Positivity SELLS!
Time to clean the kitchen and get this grind back on track.
