Join us as we #Strike4BlackLives on Wednesday. This is a global day of action for non-Black academics to “reflect on their own complicity in anti-Black racism in academia and their local and global communities”. June 10,2020 CLAS will join the #shutdownacademia & #shutdownstem in solidarity with Black Lives Matter It’s time for action. Not policies on paper but action. #shutdownacademia #shutdownstem Academia & Science in general was made by white people for white people. We must continue the process of eradicating racism, creating an effective support system for our Black community, and evolving to be a more inclusive field. This is only one of the many ways we can support the Black community and the BLM movement. On this day, we ask you to continue educating yourself and encouraging your peers, whether that be faculty or students, to educate themselves as well. Link to the website is in the bio!
