Hi everyone! Caleb Electric Brain here! I wanted to jump on here and tell you about a new plan for me. Because of a family situation, I'm going to have to focus on serving them more for a couple months, which unfortunately means that I probably won't be back on here for a while. I'll still post a video this Monday, but then I need to focus on my family after that. Once we're back to normal, I plan to come back on here and post as usual. Thanks for your support!
Did you know that origami can help your brain? Well it can! Arjhun Srinivasan on quora.com says that, “Origami helps develop hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and mental concentration.” I love origami! Let me know, in the comments, if you want me to teach you how to fold some thing. if you want to read the full article, that I got this information from, here’s the link: https://www.quora.com/What-are-the-benefits-of-origami-on-brain
What’s a good way to keep your brain healthy, while keeping you entertained at the same time? This might be hard to believe, but, according to helpguide.org, “Nothing works faster or more dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance than [laughter]”! “Laughter strengthens your immune system,… lightens your burdens, inspires hope,… [and] keeps you… focused”. So, how do you start laughing? One idea they give is to “Ask people, “What’s the funniest thing that happened to you today? This week? In your life?” If you want to read the full article, here’s the link to it: https://www.helpguide.org/articles/mental-health/laughter-is-the-best-medicine.htm Keep laughing guys! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Learning another language. “Hold on. What?! Learning another language is super hard!” I know. That's why it's a really good for your brain. You see, not only will it allow you to speak to different people, but according to extraclass.it, “Because language is complex, speaking or learning a foreign language (also) gives your brain a good workout.” It says that “Compared to people that speak one language, adults who speak multiple languages are more likely to… be better at planning, prioritizing, and decision making… have better focus, concentration, and attention… have better memory and memorization skills…” and a bunch of other things. For me, learning another language is really hard at first, but once I have some kind ofhandle on it, it gets more fun! Did you know that jumping on a trampoline can help your brain? That’s right! vulyplay.com says that it “strengthens the muscles of your cardiovascular (heart) system,” this will help needed oxygen get to your brain, “and the boost in oxygen levels will make you feel more alert!” It also helps you with your balance since you are almost never on flat terrain. One of the ways I like to work out on the trampoline, is by playing a family sport called “Arch”. It was invented by my uncle, and my family loves it. I’ll teach you how to play this game in my next video.
One of the ways I like to keep my brain healthy, is by working on a jigsaw puzzle. brandpointcontent.com says that “Jigsaw puzzles improve your visual-spatial reasoning…, which helps with driving a car, packing, using a map,… , and a whole host of other things.” It also says that they “improve short-term memory” and are a great stress reliever.” if you want to read the whole article, here’s the link to it: https://www.brandpointcontent.com/article/33202/7-surprising-benefits-of-doing-jigsaw-puzzles
