I’m sure no one saw this coming 😉😂 Belle is officially part of our little family!! We really had *zero* intention of “foster-failing” twice in a row, but from day 1 Belle was obsessed with Hank and he slowly but surely got attached to her too 😉 it’s been SO fun to see them play together, cuddle together and generally just keep our lives very cute & chaotic. Hard to believe that this year we added TWO dogs to our home 😅 love them so much and so thankful for this life together!! 💛 Photos taken by @uppercaselphotography and edited by me ☺️
Bear hugs, windswept curls and belly laughs - just a few of my favorite things 🥰
Ok but have you booked your family session yet??? 😍😭💛 I just don’t want to you to miss out on documenting these moments 👆🏻 These moments that will bring you back to this time & the version of you are right now. The you that is surviving social distancing and learning to smile with your eyes over your mask. The you that can’t remember what you did on Saturday mornings before your toddler busted through the door at 6am. The you that treasures way your partner helps you find joy in the lowest moments this year. I only have a two spots left for TOMORROW night in Lake Elmo (and it’s going to be 73 & sunny - hellloooo)! Link in bio or DM me to book your spot! 🥳
Woke up in the middle of the night because Belle was sleeping on TOP of my head 🤣 so that gives you an idea of how much coffee I’m gonna need today 😴 • • • • Shot for @maritwilliamsphoto ✨
I plan on spending my time & money on family photos every year - even though it’s just the two of us for now. Why? We had these photos taken last fall and when I look at them, I see more than pretty photos — they remind me of how it felt to be new homeowners, figuring out how to fix things, pay for things, find middle ground on how to decorate (I won😂). How Jay had just trimmed his huge beard after growing it out for a whole YEAR and had been looking like a Sasquatch 😂 I had also really been struggling with anxiety around this time and it reminds me of all the nights Jay would hold me and reassure me as I navigated bettering my mental health and facing my fears 💛 It makes me misty thinking about our future kids seeing these photos and how mom and dad looked when they were young. They’re also just really pretty and I love having them on my walls at home 💁🏼♀️😉 I can only imagine that once we have kids I’ll want yearly photos even more, to document their growth - how they look, how they smile, what silly things they do - it’s always changing and evolving & having those photos together is something you can’t get back once that phase it over. What a gift it is to experience that nostalgia when you look at photographs - I never want to miss an opportunity for that - who knows what memories or small details might mean the most years later? I only have a few dates on my calendar for fall sessions, so if you want to capture you & your loves during this crazy 2020 year, DM me and we’ll book you one! 💛
MARRIED! 🥂 Courtney & Eric’s *gorgeous* August wedding at @rollingridgemn is featured in my stories today! 😍 love these two!!
It’s that Friday-before-a-long-weekend feelin! Are you doing anything fun? I’ve got a busy day ahead of me with a mentor session with @cameronandtia & then a 2021 wedding consult! Tomorrow Jay is going to a friend’s cabin and I’m planning to relish in the introvert time / deep clean & organize my entire house / binge a new library book ✌🏻🤓 enjoy your Friday & I hope your Labor Day plans are cooler than mine!! 😂
Putting the final touches on this gallery & can’t get over how precious Courtney and her grandma are 🥺 why are grandmas the best?? 💛
