Carly's class visited Moor Park library this morning to spread some festive cheer. They delivered Christmas cards that they made for their friends in the community. The children were very excited when the lovely librarian gave them some books to bring back to school. They are looking forward to visiting the library more regularly in the New Year πππ

Some of our students have been to represent Woodlands School in the Annual School Art Show at the Grundy Art Gallery, Blackpool. This included a visit to the Gallery this morning to see the new exhibition where there is a focus on the artists whose work references football. Back in school there will be a follow up art workshop where these students will design a football shirt that represents them. These football shirts will then be displayed in the Grundy Art Gallery as part of the Annual Schools Show that will be running from 13th January 2024 β 23rd March 2024. The exhibition is available for all to visit, so you will be able to see the schools work on display in the gallery. @grundyartgallery Grundy Art Gallery π¨
