We eat your cake.⠀ Cry when you cry most of the time.⠀ Third wheel AND fourth wheel it. ⠀ Sometimes look like we have a company uniform, by accident.⠀ I wear enough messy buns for the two of us.⠀ And we are always willing to do whatever to make those photos.⠀ ⠀ A year of shooting with Sus + Bri is up on the blog today for a fun change up! & consider this a public outcry for someone to teach me what to do with my hair other than a messy bun 🙏🏻😂
Fun fact: The night before a wedding, I still feel like....I'm playing in the superbowl in the morning. Ready to fight a giant. Run the marathon. Win the thing. I have alll the feelings + anticipation + high expectations of myself, and have meticulously planned out my snacks for the day and where exactly we are stopping for turkey sammys on the way...OF COURSE. ⠀ ⠀ Tomorrow, @susieherwig & I are shooting one big editorial with a lot of killer vendors and I haven't done one in years...so...having all the feelings over here! STAY TUNED!
I thought I'd be jumping back on here like a wild woman after my hiatus.⠀ ⠀ But. I didn't and I haven’t! And I forget that I'm supposed to be on the up + up with this social media thing.⠀ ⠀ So here: this is The Galloway fam in their home. I photographed them last month and talk about how less stressful it was because they didn’t even need to leave their house with all these little people! Those little boys were smitten with their baby sister. I have two brothers and I freaken love it...so I think this is one lucky little girl!
Susie + I shot two weddings together this weekend. ⠀ ⠀ It was the first time in my entireeee career that I didn't eat dessert at a wedding. *GASP* ⠀ ⠀ You could say I'm turning a new leaf.⠀ ⠀ And it's a leaf I dont really like, I tell ya what 🤪I have 20 more receptions of temptations awaiting me for 2020. WILL I MAKE IT?!
I'M BACK! ⠀ ⠀ To sum it up: I love so many of you people but I did not miss instagram in the slightest.⠀ ⠀ Well. I missed looking up all the things for houses. Seeing other builds. #butcherblockisland help. I love IG for home design inspo & I did miss that!⠀ ⠀ SO.⠀ I'm still here.⠀ My business didn't crumble. ⠀ My soul feels real happy.⠀ ⠀ And my 3 year old just came up to me with a doodle and said: No matter what you weigh, you're beautiful. Here ya go. And walked away. ⠀ ⠀ I will leave you with that wisdom. Happy 2020 everyone.
This is my farewell! ⠀ ⠀ I am leaving social media on 12/1 until the new year. For a multitude of reasons, however, I will still be here behind the scenes working. I’m only an email away if ya need me! ⠀ ⠀ I will see y’all next year! ⠀ ⠀ And serve as living proof that your business won’t crumble in one month of no social media. ⠀ ⠀ Or so I hope 😂 ⠀ ⠀ PS - running a special for any 2020 associate weddings booked with Susie girl until 1/1/20! PSS - my husband took this. Near our swingset. He’s a champ.
I may be the number one fan of veils.⠀ And black + whites.⠀ And the in between moments of a wedding day that aren't so obvious.⠀ ⠀ Forever + ever, amen.
In just a few days I will be taking a whole months worth of a break from social media. I've never done this before! I just want to focus on the holidays, my babies, the back end of business, and my all around health. I will be working + answering emails though if ya need me!⠀ ⠀ BUT FIRST.⠀ 1. Fight Hustle, End Hurry podcast. It's a short series with Jeff Bethke + John Mark Comer. You should listen to it.⠀ 2. Christmas sessions were magical on Sunday! & they’re all delivered! 🎉 3. This is the first time in my life that I have wanted my Christmas tree up for thanksgiving and we are 90% done shopping already.🎄
