Come on, ladies. These men are out here killin the candle game right now! 🤣
My favorite part! 💜
They say hindsight is 20/20... . Even though 2020 is still going....so far this year has taught us several lessons as business owners. We have learned to be more purposeful, more creative, more flexible and more tenacious. We are also learning how to pivot and not make excuses when things don’t go as planned! Owning this business has truly been an exciting, life-altering journey. And even though every day throws us curve balls, we are becoming our stronger, better selves. We want to thank all of our supporters and clients near and far who have stuck with us through the past few months. Thank you for not giving up on us and keeping us here to fight another day 💜
“We humans are social beings. We come into the world as a result of others actions. we survive here in dependence on others. Whether we like it or not, there’s hardly a moment of our lives when we do not benefit from the actions of others activities. For this reason, it is hardly surprising that most of our happiness arises in the context of our relationships with others.” - Dalai Lama. What a profound statement, which I think pretty much sums up the realization that many of us have come to as we seek to process everything going on lately. Even though we are happy to be able to open our doors, we still have to make safety and social distancing a priority. But with that being said, it brings us joy to be able to bring people together in a safe way. Yesterday’s soap workshop reminded us just how much we need each other to feel connected. Also, a little creativity allowed our spirit to breathe and feel human.💜
Aren’t these rubber ducky soaps adorable? We made these today during our virtual melt and pour soap making workshop and I just had to share! This is a fun and easy craft project to make with kids. The cool part is they are ready to use in minutes and make bath time fun too!

Loveandmake.com. ———————————————————————- The biggest life lessons we have learned as business owners over the last few weeks are actually old sayings, “focus on what you can control” and “keep on keeping on”. Even though recent events have seen a financial setback for ours and numerous other small businesses, we decided to put our energy toward being productive. We have also been inspired by fellow entrepreneurs who have sought creative ways to maintain and even grow revenue by stepping up their virtual game and launching new offerings. Over the month of April, we were able to use the downtime to get our studio upgrades completed and make progress on our product line. We miss our clients and can’t wait for you to see our new space!
