Fear of the Lord ➡️ obedience. I’m in the prophets. The weeping prophet rn. And whew... Jeremiah 2. Whew. • • • • • S/n Ya girl got some gesso acrylic primer (FINALLY). This is an acrylic paint primer that preps the Bible journaling page so that the paint marker, especially, does not run through 😍

Went “Journal Diving” Monday ... And stumbled upon this (2). This is why Journaling is so dear to me. How quickly do we forget His past faithfulness as we wait on Him in the present ... S/n I picked up #procreate at the beginning of the pandemic. I had and still have no clue what I am doing but it has always been a hope to make some of these journal doodles or at least the truth within them shareable. So you’re in for some fun !

I can certainly tell you this shirt absolutely is not the way I have been “feeling” lately. BUT I got dressed this morning and the only thing that would fit was t-shirts (I am not going to rest here or explain but it was a source of frustration for a moment 😂🤦🏾♀️). So I reached for this one as I knew I wished to wear a blazer over it (it’s parent teacher conference day 1 of 2). During my Honors Chem class, one of my students messaged me “like ya shirt” and I said “thanks” & chuckled as I knew only the “it is well” was visible but I’m sure many probably know the second half of this line of the chorus of the age old hymn. In our shortened class / checkin as they shared what they were grateful for one said “Bible” another 2 said “church live-streaming”... I’m grateful for that reminder & I am grateful that this shirt “fit” the day. Meditating on Psalm 25:4-5 these moments felt like God taking me by the hand and leading me in His truth: My kids reminding me of what we are to take hold of in these times (and they don’t even know they were preaching simply by sharing what they are most grateful for).

A little fun: my skin care routine has gotten more budget friendly since - marriage, paying off debt & now saving for a home 🏡 so I loveeeee these right here. Good for them pockets & sooo good to the skin. I love being able to understand what is in what I am putting on my body ! 1. @traderjoes Face Wash with Tea Tree Oil 2. @traderjoes Ultra Hydrating Gel Moisturizer 🧴 😍 3. @getjackblack Deep Dive Glycolic Facial Cleanser (yes that’s a men’s skincare line BUT @sephora somehow sent me a sample 4 years ago in one of my orders & we’ve been rocking ever since : my go to for fading scarring + got rid of my cystic acne 😋)
