The SU Awards last night were incredible! Thanks to everybody who still donned their glad rags, generously poured the bubbly, and plonked themselves down in the safety (and comfort!) of their own sofas to follow it and join in. 🎉🍾 Congratulations again to all the nominees and winners this year. The awards may not have been how we planned them, but last night showed that we didn't need to be sitting in the Whitla to showcase your achievements. You guys do this on a daily basis and it's the hard work, passion, and enthusiasm you put in which make our Clubs & Societies great! Here's to next year! And if there are a few sore heads today, just stay in bed... you probably won't miss much anyway!

COVID 19 UPDATE: You will be aware of the announcement from the Prime Minister, instructing everyone to stay at home unless absolutely necessary. Queen’s Accommodation remains open and students staying there will continue to be looked after and supported by University staff. However, the University is now asking those students currently staying in Queen’s accommodation to go home if they are able to do so. Keep safe everyone

‼️COVID-19 UPDATE‼️The Union (including The Speakeasy) will close from 17.03.20 until further notice. The University made the decision earlier today to cease face to face teaching and to close various facilities across campus effective immediately. This is a worrying and anxious time for everyone and our primary concern remains the health and wellbeing of our students, staff and the wider community. We will have further info for our clubs and societies, student reps and about our other services including Advice SU tomorrow. You can find out more about the University closures at the FAQs link in the bio Take care everyone ❤️❤️
