In honor of Juneteenth, a federal holiday celebrating freedom and equality, all GCPS schools, including Brookwood Elementary, will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th. There will also be no Summer Learning programs on that day.

Mark your calendars! ️ The 2024-2025 school calendar is now available on the Brookwood Elementary website https://schools.gcpsk12.org/Page/2093! (link in profile) Stay organized and informed about all important dates, student events, testing, and field trips throughout the year. The calendar will be continuously updated as new information is available. Parents can even subscribe using their Google account! This calendar is a great resource for planning appointments, scheduling vacations, and keeping track of everything happening at Brookwood!

GCPS held a luncheon today honoring this year’s retirees from the school system. Mrs. Lillard represented Brookwood Elementary in honoring our retirees, Mary Brottem, Sherri Davis, Melissa Poynter, Pam Dietz (pictured), and Carol Rothman (pictured).

Join the 2024 Jr Broncos Competition Squad for Cheer Clinic for rising Kindergarten - 5th grade students on June 14th. Cost is $40 per student for the 3 hour clinic with instruction in cheering, dancing, jumping plus fun, games, and much more. 📗 Grades K-2: Read 180 minutes to conquer your bingo board.
📘 Grades 3-5: Gear up for 360 minutes of reading adventures!
📙 Everyone who completes the bingo board gets a FREE book from the GCPS Bookmobile in the Fall!

On this #MemorialDay, we remember and honor America's fallen heroes who bravely served our country. 🇺🇸 The Brookwood Elementary School front office is closed today, Monday, May 27th.

Beginning May 28th through July 31st, Brookwood Elementary School's Front Office will open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Beginning May 28th through July 24th, the Registration Office is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. Please call the school at 770-736-4360 to make an appointment to complete registration.

Brookwood Elementary will be closed during summer on the following dates:
🟡 Wednesday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth
🟡 July 1st - 5th in observance of Independence Day
🟡 Friday, July 12th - Gwinnett County Public Schools holiday
