It’s #sfeselfcaresunday 💫 and this week we got some gems from our IFC president @robert_gabalski. - My self care routine is to set aside one day to mentally and physically relax. It's important, especially as a college student, to take some time off from our busy lifestyles. You can take one day to do anything you want whether it be hang out with friends, spend a day with your family, or even just watch movies all day. Self care is very important. - How are y’all practicing self-care today? Let us know below! #iowastate #selfcare
On this day in 1920, Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity was founded at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg! Sigma Tau Gamma members not only celebrate a Founders Day, but on February 28th they also celebrate Fellowship Day which hosts inspirational programs for their members based on the Principles, Creed and Ritual of the Fraternity. Be sure to wish the members of Sigma Tau Gamma Happy Founder’s Day today! Fun fact, Sigma Tau Gamma was founded as a result of friendships that were made by some of their founders who had fought in World War 1!
Leaders take action. . Actionable leadership is talking to chapter members who use racists, homophobic, or gender exclusive language. . Actionable leadership is wearing a mask in public. . Actionable leadership is voting in every election. . We need leaders that take action to create an equitable and just community. The responsibility is with every community member to do something to create change. . Tag a chapter member below that is a leader who takes action! #thingsleadersdo #leadership
It’s #safecytuesday and this week we have some gems from @isualphadeltapi 💛❤️ - “The safety of our sisters is Alpha Delta Pi’s number one priority. Whether it is giving someone a ride to the library, calling one another if someone is walking alone, or encouraging our sisters to use the safe ride app offered by ISU, we live for each other and that means putting each other first to ensure the safety of our members.” - We love all the things ADPi does to keep their sisters safe! Does your chapter do similar things? Let us know below! #safetyfirst #alphadeltapi #iowastateuniversity

Being a member of a chapter means giving back to the community you’re a part of! Take some time to consider how you have volunteered and given back so you can share your experience with chapters. Volunteer! Each chapter in the commuity has a partnership with at least one organization they volunteer their time and talent with. Volunteering is one of the many ways our chapters work to improve the Ames and Iowa State community. Chapters want to see people who are passionate and committed to make the world around them better. #giveback #maketheworldbetter #leaveanimpact #tipsandtricks
It’s #sfeselfcaresunday 💫 This week, Ariel Hatton, CPC VP of Finance shared one of her self-care tips and it’s all about finding your joy. “I remind myself to do one thing everyday that makes me happy.
