It froze last night! ❄️🥶 Yesterday I harvested the last few things that I knew were going to die. I cut some flowers, picked my favorite Pink Lady Apples, and harvested herbs. This year I want to try drying my herbs to make my own spices for baking! I have a lot of sage, thyme, parsley, & rosemary. Plus some basil that I’m going to make pesto with. Any tips out there on drying herbs?? It’s supposed to snow tomorrow 😱 I plan to still be open at the fruit stand and we’re coming up on the last week for the season! The LAST DAY open will be November 1st! I’m having some great box deals now until then... 9. More. Days.
Our main crop is the D’Anjou Pear! 🍐Look at these beauts 😍 a great fresh eating pear, that can last for months in the fridge! There’s not too many left in the fruit stand so come get your fix before November! I’m going to be gone this weekend hunting! ✌🏻🦌 Don’t worry, the fruit stand will still be open from 10-5. There are lots of apples, pears, squash, and some pumpkins! Have a great weekend! 😆
Okay I’m having so much fun making these pumpkin bouquets! Thinking I should do a presale next year for orders in October?! Who would love one?!! 🙋🏼♀️ Sadly the flower field is pretty toast. But I am finding a few gems everyday so I’ve been keeping them for myself and experimenting with these pumpkins! 🎃🍂🌻
I loooooooove Bosc! Honey, creamy, juicy flavor 🤤 they’re so good and good for you! Gold when ripe 💛 I’ve got plenty in the fruit stand, come try one!
