  • The bougainvillea that grows here in the desert is one of my very favorite things ✨. I saw this patch at the lovely @royalpalmsweddings and knew I wanted to use it to frame sweet Stephanie’s beautiful dress as I thought it would be the perfect touch 👌🏻💕.

Had a lot of fun challenging myself on this session by using all digital and testing @noblepresets. Thanks to @itsshanshan for assisting on this shoot and showing me around the beautiful city of Chicago ❤️. Such a blast to shoot here, so awesome to reconnect with Dan and Ashley, and fun to try new things 💕.

  • I’ve had the opportunity to travel a handful of times this year, and I have such great memories of every place I’ve visited (the people I’ve met and reconnected with definitely being the very best part!). But there’s one thing I’ve learned in it: there’s absolutely no place like home. I’ve heard people throw that phrase around, but now I understand it. As beautiful or as exciting a place can be, there’s absolutely nothing that replaces being home with family and friends who truly know and love you. It’s irreplaceable. I’ve always “known” this, but now I *really* do. I have so many more thoughts on this and the reflections I’ve been having lately, and I look forward to sharing more of my process.
