• How a CEO prepares her business to travel the world full-time 🌎 If you’re new around here (heyyy girl 🙋🏽‍♀️) you may not know that I have been traveling the world full-time since February of 2020. We have always dreamed of doing this and we took what was going on around us as a sign that it was the time to do it NOW. Prior to us traveling full-time, I knew I had to reorganize the business to make sense with how I wanted to actually live my life. #CEOVIBES I didn’t want to be hiking the Grand Canyon worrying if that email was sent out, or if my clients and students had what they needed. I treated my business like I treated my suitcase: only the essentials/must-haves/can’t live without items could come along on the ride. So here is what I did: 1. Vision: I got REALLY clear and intentional around the purpose of my business. If it didn’t align, it had to go. 2. Simplifying: Cleaned up my programs and offerings. Asked myself, what are the essentials that my ideal client needs to get the RESULTS? 3. Planning ahead: A clear plan of action allowed me to outline the vision for the business months in advance so that I could travel while also servicing my clients. 4. Automation: Batching the content ahead of time using @honeybook, @aweber, and @latermedia to automate the process, gave me the flexibility of enjoying each location while also nurturing my community. 5. Sticking to the plan: It’s easy to get distracted by every idea you have. Having a tight travel schedule didn’t allow space for anything that wasn’t a priority or didn’t align with the vision (step 1). 6. Delegating: You can’t build an empire alone and you shouldn’t have to! I knew I wanted to have true freedom while traveling and having people that I trust to get things done has given me peace of mind while traveling that things are still getting accomplished while I’m having the time of my life.   • As a Hispanic American Woman, I am privileged and I can absolutely recognize that. ⠀ ⠀ Regardless of how I grew up, I never feared for my life when being pulled over by the cops, going to the store, or running down the street. ⠀ ⠀ I was raised with the belief that I can have, be, and do anything my heart desires. THAT is a privilege. I was born with a family, that although didn’t have everything, they made sure I never missed anything. I have never had to consider that because my skin is brown, I didn’t have the same opportunities as anyone else and THAT is a privilege.⠀ ⠀ This is not a white vs black issue. This is a RACISM issue. BIPOC have been oppressed for years by ALL races. Our country was literally built this way. ⠀ ⠀ RACISM begins at home. Hate is taught at home and until we can have these conversations consistently with our families, friends, and children, nothing will change. ⠀ ⠀ Our justice system is broken. ⠀ Our political system is broken. ⠀ Our FOUNDATION is broken. ⠀ ⠀ The division between the minority and the majority that is being amplified right now has always been there. Police brutality isn’t getting worse, it’s just being documented more often and fuck yes I’m angry about the injustice that is occurring in our world right now. I also know that in my heart, anger isn’t the answer. ⠀ ⠀ I absolutely don’t have the solution for this (right now) and like you, have found it difficult to really put into words what I am internalizing. ⠀ ⠀ I do know that the pain the black community has endured for CENTURIES is deeply embedded and it will take effort from ALL of us to finally change the laws, get the right people in power, and make some serious shifts in our current reality so that they no longer have to fear that their basic human fucking rights are violated just by walking down the street. ⠀ ⠀ If you have no idea what to do right now, EDUCATE yourself. *because all of your knowledge can’t come from social media⠀ ⠀ & Know what you are standing for so that you can make an impact because you CAN!
