A weekend in the mountains is the best way to spend the long weekend before the end of summer! Especially when you’re surrounded by friends that become family. . I don’t post a lot of the family sessions I do but I may be spamming my feed with some recent ones. Can’t wait to blog some of them and share them! . How are you spending the long weekend?

I just realized it’s been a long time since I posted my face on my feed and there are so many new followers so it’s time to do a little intro post! . 1. I named my business because of the Golden warmth of my photography but mostly because of these two golden nuggets - my babies Lillian and Henry. . 2. I was born exactly one week before Christmas. . 3. I love to cook. The fancier and more complicated the better. But I also love Taco Bell 🤷🏼♀️ . 4. I am very afraid of dark bodies of water . 5. I love arts and crafts and home decorating . If you’re new here - tell me a little about you!

Almost done packing for our mountain getaway this weekend! So excited to spend time with family and get some mountain air. Just a pit stop at the grocery store, a newborn session and a work day left to go! . I feel so accomplished! Do you pack leading up to the trip or at the last minute?

Can’t wait to be breathing that mountain air in a couple of weeks. The mornings and evenings are getting cooler and the sun is setting earlier.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Trying not to mourn the end of summer but embrace it and know that fall is just around the corner. That means, cozy blankets, warm soups, stews and chili’s, and lots and lots of baking!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What do you look forward to most about the change in seasons?
