Mornings are different because I'm my own boss. 8 AM - I usually wake up at 8 AM since I don't have to fight traffic to make it to the corporate office. Brush my teeth, do a morning walk, & make some tea. 8: 30 AM - I head to my office nook near the living room to create Pinterest graphics & descriptions for a my client who is popular travel influencer. 9:30 AM - Go through my emails: delete, answer, or file away. 9:45 AM - Organize & optimize Youtube channel for a fitness influencer to increase views. ….. and the day is still on a roll but that’s the beginning of an average day. To be honest I spent way too much time creating this post so I have to get back to work! I’ve been self-employed for 2.5 years. Eek, can you believe it? I better my processes, rituals, & routines daily. Got a question? Leave a comment.

Spent most of today reading a book & practicing my Spanish. Although I did “nothing,” I feel more productive than if I simply spent the day watching 14 episodes of Friends (again.) ✨ What’re you up to?

2019 was quite a year. I went on press trips. I went to 6 countries. I grew my business. I had some struggles. I had some good times, but nonetheless I made it work. I went skydiving; I challenged myself. I lost clients, I gained clients, I earned money & I spent money & I saved money. Life is hard. It’s not easy but I slayed 2019 & I can’t wait to continue that. Life is difficult, you just have to apply yourself. And I’m going to nail it. ✨ Thanks for being part of the story; it’s going to be a bumpy ride! ✨ What was your favourite thing I posted/talked/did/ate this year? Let me know how I can provide you with moments worth sharing. See you in 2020! 👋🏼

I was featured in a magazine!!! @ParadeMagazine asked a few travel influencers about their favorite underrated towns in Italy 🇮🇹 & I talked about my love for Bergamo, Italy! They linked to my blog & everything. 😘 💻 Parade Magazine is a big freaking deal. Parade is the one of the most widely read magazines in United States with a circulation 22 million & readership 54 million. I‘ve been blogging since 2011. It feels fantastic to end 2019 in a high note. Seeing my name & website on such an enormous digital magazine is empowering. Don’t stop chipping away at your goals, my friend. 2019 isn’t over yet! I became a US citizen at age 16. I was unable to leave the USA 🇺🇸 up until that moment. I remember doing a US roadtrip with my dad at age 12 while my sister went to Greece at age 7, all because I might not get back into the US! 😐 Ever since that momentous day, travel has been an enormous, important part of my life because I spent SO MANY YEARS unable to do so. Travel is a privilege. Please, if you have the ability to travel, get your passport & do it. I spent 16 years of my life feeling stuck. If anything, hopefully this post reminds you to travel, to be aware of the privilege of travel, & to enjoy it. ✈️ ___________________________ I want to open the dialogue on this: Where would you travel? What’s holding you back? If someone paid for you to travel 30 days anywhere you wanted, where would you choose? Leave a comment.
