This is ‘Hazy Black’ by Anne Nowak. It’s spray painted acrylic and matte coal on Hahnemühle paper. It’s been float mounted to show the deck led edges and set into an oak frame with heavy wash finish. #finishedframe

This is immense. Pastel on paper, it’s the wonderful creation of @banfieldaec during her residency at @arcadecampfa, float mounted and set behind museum glass. #finishedframe

I’m not going to lie, getting the shade of pink right for the frame was a challenge but I love this. It’s a giclee print of Antistress by @lorazombie and I think it’s fabulous. #finishedframe

One for any Victor Hugo fans. A portrait of the writer by the Seine. The painting is on paper but the client opted to not put it behind glass so nothing is lost of the texture. #finishedframe

That look! Love this Shepard Fairey print. Float mounted on conservation mountboard, with matching mounboard spacers, and set behind invisible glass. Stunning image, I think. #finishedframe

Ah, Juliette... Photo taken of the actress whilst shooting Three Colours Blue. I don’t know what the technical term for numbers and words at the edge of the print is called but I love that it’s been retained. Adds to the cinematic context of the image, I think. #finishedframe

These are some of a selection of works I framed for artist Noel Hewitt. The large painting is on a deep board set into a colour matching dark green float frame and I love the effects of the painting process, which involves use of varnishes, in this one. The second is a painting on panel set into a frame with Rubio wood stain finish. The third is a wonderfully detailed pencil drawing framed in ash with charcoal painted finish, applied fairly lightly so as to retain the wood grain. #finishedframe

Contrast. Both frames finished with customised coloured wax polish; one warm, one cool. The frame for the Kyffin is burnished aged bronze to compliment the print colours and the client’s decor. The band poster frame colour matches the grass in the foreground. Gets a bit messy but it’s a fun finish to do. #finishedframe

I’ve been privileged to frame this trio of beautiful paintings by @robertmcpartland. My photos don’t do them justice. They look as though, if you were to touch them, you’d feel smooth, cool shell beneath your fingers. Stunning work. They’ll be exhibited @gallery57_arundel from 29 February to 9 May. #finishedframe

And these. Same artist - Sue Roberts - but different exhibition. These are going to the Laugharne Festival. Float mounted to show the torn edges and, if you look carefully, you can do a physical fit as they’re a pair rendered from the same sheet of paper. #finishedframe

Was proud to be asked to frame this piece by Sue Roberts for the Women And The Valleys exhibition. Painting on canvas and some lovely textures there. #finishedframe

From tomorrow until 29th Feb you can see the Painter Printmakers exhibition at Twenty Twenty Gallery in Ludlow, including work by Sarah Garvey. These are solar plate etchings and are so worth seeing. Beautiful work, I think. #finishedframe

Thoroughly enjoyed having this is the workshop. The detail in the brushwork is incredible. The artist is Cecile Duchene Mallisin. The canvas is very deep so has been set into a very deep tray finished in pale grey. #finishedframe

I’d admired this linoprint of Lewis Merthyr Winding Gear by Ieuan Edwards for quite a while so was delighted when I was commissioned to frame it. The frame is tulipwood finished with a heavy red black wash. #finishedframe

One from last year. The illuminated painting is from India and the detail is extraordinary. It’s been float mounted in a light rub glided face frame referencing the red and gold in the image. #finishedframe

Look at that blue! Three screenprints of Berlin. A bit tricky to photograph in the space because of their size but even with the reflection I think you can see the richness of the ink. #finishedframe
