How is so much still alive in this mess we have made? Anthropologist Anna Lowenhaupt Tsing writes about how mushrooms will survive the ruins of capitalism, in being experts at dealing with precarity. Mushrooms are the third nature: They manage to live despite capitalism by entangling ways of life. And as we find ourself in search for global solidarity, new ways of collaboration and personal narratives in these exceptional times, mushrooms silently grows in a mall in Malasiya that was closed due to the pandemic.
