  • Above the lakes, and the trees, and the grass, there's only rocks and clear blue sky. This was the most beautiful day I've ever had on Cloud Peak and we could see the Wind River Range about 140 miles to the southwest behind me! It was spectacular, but changed to rain and lightning just a couple hours later - we were off the mountain by then.
