The poppy field near Condicote (near Stow on the Wold) last night. . I didn’t have my camera so had to rely on the iPhone. Think I got away with it ☀️
Nowhere does gates, walls and porches like the Cotswolds. . Who would like to move in here? . 📷 @thatcotswoldlife
As if a field of poppies wasn’t magical enough ♥️ . Love this. 📷 @nigelwood1970 . Have a great weekend 👌🏻
The Cotswolds is beginning to turn red ♥️
Some much needed rain ☔️
Enough is enough.
Taken before lockdown, but just a little shout out to all the incredible small businesses serving their communities so amazingly well. Let’s remember all of these guys when “normality” returns. 🥖🍞 . Tag in the businesses that you’ll be supporting today.
Bourton on the Water looking wonderful in the sunshine ☀️
Stow on the Wold this afternoon when I went to get my coffee fix from the brilliant @stowtowncoffee, which I believe is the smallest coffee roastery in the UK. Don’t quote me on that! . Keep supporting local businesses guys. They need us more than ever 🙏🏻☕️
Taken on my daily exercise in the sunshine yesterday ☀️ . We have all spent the weekend thanking the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. It’s now our turn to do our bit. . Please keep supporting local businesses, please help any vulnerable people, and be grateful for everything and everyone around you 🙏🏻 🇬🇧
It genuinely breaks me when I hear that many pubs in the Cotswolds (and the whole of the UK) are not entitled to any help during this horrific time. . This is not a political post so please don’t make it one. Let’s just pull together and support them as much as we can when we’re able to do so. 🍻🙏🏻
The sun setting on another Sunday, that feels like a Thursday. . I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. 🦌
Just look at what’s waiting for us on the outside ☀️ Stay home, stay safe, save lives 🙏🏻
Which Cotswolds town or village are you most looking forward to visiting when lockdown is over?
I have burnt legs and arms and a roast in the oven. I hope you’ve all had a lovely Easter weekend in the sunshine. Here’s to all the key workers and the incredible people on the frontline 🙏🏻🇬🇧☀️
Was going to post something about spring in the Cotswolds but then read the worrying news about Boris Johnson. This all goes way beyond politics 🙏🏻
I have found it quite tough to find any kind of inspiration recently but have had had so many people message me saying how much they love seeing pictures of the Cotswolds. I guess they bring a little bit of normality back into our lives for a split second and remind us what is waiting for us on the other side. That’s good enough for me 🙏🏻
Tag the first pub you’re going to visit when all this over 🍻
