• I was feelin my outfit after filming for this week’s YouTube video when these BEAUTIFUL group of friends said “can we say hi to David?” 🥺❤️

The third photo is my reaction to them saying hi 😂

I asked them where they’re going dressed so cute and they said “nowhere, we’re just hanging out.”

I LOVED their energy and styles so I asked them if they’d be willing to be in my tiktok of me photographing them individually AND THEY SAID YES!

can’t wait to share the video and photos ❤️

  • Stop over thinking posing!!!

I remember when I was just starting out with photography, I would waaay overdo on everything.

Editing, I’ll over saturate to the point RtR picture looked unnatural.

Camera tilts, add a Dutch angle (when you slightly tilt the camera to the side) for no reason

Lighting, put a strobe on top of my camera and direct it straight at my clients because it looked cool and “different.”

But soon enough I got tired of all that. I was tired of following trends and what was “cool.”

I was trying so hard to be noticed when all I was doing was adding to the noise.

I went back to all the basics and fundamentals. Simple framing, subtle color toning, and soft light and I developed my own voice.

Yes there is a time and place for big, elaborate poses but take time to learn the fundamentals.
