I'm excited for wedding season! We have some availability for 2020 and have had multiple inquiries for 2021. As long as you have a wedding date, we can schedule a consultation! I'd love to talk about color palettes and floral dreams with you. Schedule your free consult today from the link in my bio. • Photography: @bekahwriedt @trillefloral @splendor_of_eden
Lace or sparkles? 90/100 times. I'd pick lace over sparkles. I love the texture and intricate detail lace provides.
Earlier this year, I had an opportunity to attend a winter workshop in Chicago by @trillefloral and @splendorofeden. It was an honor to learn to design from two designers I admire. More organic style arches, please. Bouquet design by me. • Photography: @bekahwriedt Model: @rebeccabrunnermusic Dress: @aliceinivorybridal Makeup: @adelineartistry Hair: @sabrinathehairwitch Ribbon: @froufrouchic @trillefloral @splendor_of_eden
Garden roses come in a variety of colors and sizes. Their layers and layers of petals give so much dimension and oftentimes color variance. When in season, we order our garden roses from an organic garden rose farm in California. They're delightful and add so much beauty to your bouquet. They're definitely one of my favorites.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Photo by @socialsquares.
Before Lilyput was born, I was a Marketing Manager for a Park District. I managed a team, the design, messaging, and communication for the district. I was confident and knew what I was doing and how to do it. I really enjoyed my job but there was always that what if? in the back of my mind. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That what if was to become a wedding planner, which quickly turned into an event and floral designer. At first, I bought flowers from @traderjoes to teach myself to design. Some of those first arrangements are badddd but I was excited. I designed more. I took online classes and I freelanced. I took business courses and design workshops. Three years in, I still believe I have a lot to learn but I still have that passion and know I'm where I'm supposed to be. It's not easy but hopefully, the confidence that exuded from me in my first career will catch up in this one. It's growing and every day, I know I made the right decision.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Don't work towards taking the easy path, but rather build the strength to take on the hard one.
