This is Julie! Our employee of the month! Another Painterly Portrait Transformation!! >>> A painterly portrait starts with a photograph. A photographer will create an image and then they will send it in to us for oil painting, but it’s all done digitally! The artists take a digital paintbrush and will brush each blade of grass, each cloud, each leaf, etc. and use different sized brushes for different things. We like to keep faces a little more realistic, and then give the portrait a little more “fluff” in the background. This makes it much more of a painterly feel than a photograph! #guildcanvas #painterlyportrait
