GREEN MANGO SMOOTHIE My ultimate green smoothie recipe - it’s full of antioxidants (4 types of fruit/veg), fibre, good monounsaturated fats and is genuinely delicious! Don’t be put off by the green-ness, it’s more like ice cream than pond water 🐸 🐸 Blend: 1 teacup of mango (frozen) 1-2 handfuls of spinach 1/3 of a courgette (raw) 1/4 of an avocado 1/2 a teaspoon of cinnamon 1 teaspoon of almond butter 150-250ml milk of choice - I use @rudehealth almond or coconut Enjoy with a sprinkle of granola or some chopped nuts/seeds for a bit of crunch ⚡️

UPGRADE YOUR OATS Whether in porridge, granola or bircher muesli, oats are a great breakfast. To really boost the nutritional content, try my top 3 tips: ~ Add protein/fat: Natural/greek yoghurt, almond butter or pumpkin seeds are all nutritious additions that will prevent blood sugar spikes and keep the pre-lunch hanger away ~ Remember fibre: Chopped apple/pear (both in season atm), sliced banana, a cup of berries or a tablespoon of milled flaxseed will up the antioxidant content and keep you fuller for longer ~ Mix it up: We’re creatures of habit but try to avoid having the exact same breakfast every day! Your gut loves variety so alternate your fruit/nuts/seeds to ensure you’re getting diversity in your diet 🌈🌈
