“It only took me 9 months, but we’ve got a schnitzel!” Say hello to our newest addition - our free-range chicken schnitzel. Closing the kitchen’s sustainability loop we use any remaining bread from the day to crumb the chicken, it comes with a house-made caramelised onion gravy and seasonal salad. Oh yes, and of course, an unhealthy serve of shoestring fries. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When asked for her schnitty inspo, @EmmaMcCaskill commented “I did it for the people”; ever a people pleaser. Great trait in a top chef. #NoShnitty #ForThePeople
We’re donating 25% of all sales from our newest Red Ale on tap at the Whitmore for the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Fund. Dubbed ‘CLIMATE CHANGE IS A BURNING ISSUE’, this is a beer worth talking about. Since it’s release, we’ve raised just shy of $800. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Notes of deep hints of ripe peach, tropical fruit and pine resin are present. With a soft velvety mouthfeel, the malt forwardness delights your front palate with the sweetness of toffee and finishes up with long savoury notes on the back palette. Thanks @indaily for the photo 📸and to @thetiser, @beerandbrewer, @onlyifitsgood_ , @indaily @glamadelaide and @citymag for the mentions.
Our Head Chef Emma McCaskill’s motto is “Always leave them wanting ‘s’mores”. Cooked over our rooftop firegrill, these sweet thangs are impossible to resist. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Wood roasted marshmallow, with raspberry jam cushioned between two coconut shortbread Monte Carlo biscuit.
A tasteful dry hop, citrus and fruity aroma, low bitterness with a creamy mouthfeel. Our Pilsner is an instant classic and pretty damn delicious. It’s worth a nod in the GABS Top 100 LINK IN BIO
