Wonder how we make our brewery sustainable? These lucky cows play a large part. The Adelaide Hills bovines are enjoying our spent grain that was collected by Kym from @freedomhillsanctuary to feed her orphaned or abandoned animals that she looks after with love and care at her Adelaide Hills sanctuary. Her cows, especially, love our grain! This all part of Sparkke’s zero-waste goal as a brewery and pub. We reclaim all of our water used for cooling to decrease our water waste; our in-house waste management system makes sure all of our cardboard is recycled; and all waste generated from the brewing process is composted. Think Global, Drink Local.
You might have heard the good news; restrictions will be further relaxed from Monday next week. Yes! This means we can welcome one person per two-square metres through our entire venue from June 29. While there will be more tables and areas available, you'll still need to book to guarantee a table and avoid disappointment (we want you happy!). The pub and our restaurant fare are open from Wednesday to Sunday as is our bottleshop. We'll let you know when our opening days and hours change. It’s Brew Day! We are back in our Whitmore nano-brewery for the first time since covid hit and we’ve got a delicious, special brew in the tanks for you all: stout. With choc malt, roast barley, carafa special T3 and a generous dose of oats for mouthfeel, this is the perfect winter beverage, and will be ready to enjoy next month from our taps and in Growlers. It’s great, it feels like coming home, says Brewer Carla Naismith with mash stick in hand. We're counting down the days until we are able to enjoy a pint of this tap-fresh stout in the Whitmore. That's a homecoming worth celebrating.
Make Pride Month delicious with our exclusive Pride Cocktail: Jujubee. A celebration of lemon, pomegranate liquor & our Brogan's Way collaboration gin, topped off with gummy bears & rainbow sugar. Created by our in-house cocktail team, the Jujubee is named in honour of the fantastic American drag queen of the same name and the cocktail is as fabulous as its namesake.
