Well Hey!!! It’s been a minute and there have been a few new faces that have jumped on my crazy train! 😆. My name is Katie and I am “The Sewing Nerd”. I was giving that nick name from my husband and it stuck😬. But it’s cool... To say I “love” fabric would be a huge understatement.. it’s a problem! Just a little “before and after” action coming at ya! My cute client had great furniture, two matching chairs and an ottoman, but the fabric was just too loud for her 🙈soo.. we slipcovered these bad boys right up and made a bunch of pillows to soften things up a bit! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted.. it’s been a whirlwind this last few weeks. We finally moved into our new home and almost DID NOT close because of the damn Corona😩 But we pulled off a miracle in the 11th hour💪🏾. I will say this... moving during a pandemic forces you to unpack your house and put it all away😆. Now we wait for furniture and central vac to trickle in... along with a few other punch list items...😬. So until all my fabrics show up for my house you get pretty pictures of stuff like this!!!👆🏾👆🏾👆🏾👆🏾 Can I just say that I LOVE working with designers! Especially this one!! She helped me with my house and everything she touches turns to gold!! I am just happy to make cushions and pillows for her😘. (No this is not my house and yes I have a crap ton of benches! Well.. we are approaching the finish line! Slowly but surely the last things are happening... all we need are a few more cabinets to be finished out, the entry floor needs it’s top coat and then appliances and carpet! It’s kinda bitter sweet coming to the end. We were lucky enough to work with some of thee best people in the industry and are forever grateful for their talents!! @hobblecreekcontractors is a saint to put up with us (me) but seriously... 🙈. I may still have to call in check in with him daily because its now a habit😆. Here’s to the home stretch!💪🏾
