Happy Sunday! Firing up the home studio, filling in for the one & only @deniseisaacwx who is enjoying some very well-deserved time off. Happy to see you on @nbc10boston & @necntv with @jeffsaperstonetv this AM with a look to our Sunday poolside, on the golf course, boating & at home, plus the 10-day!

May today's sunrise over Boston remind us all there can be light after darkness and inspire each of us to be our own pillars of light...compassion, peace, love, understanding, healing, unity, hope for and belief in a #BostonStrong future. Photo via thebostonwebcam.com.

“You sure you don’t want to come for a quick walk Daddy?” “Oooo I do but I just put the ribs on the grill and need to sit here on the deck to keep an eye on the grill temperature.” Soundtrack is @officialnsr. #dadsacrifices #raremoment #iswearthisdoesnthappenoften

A beautiful soul, a vibrant spirit, a compassionate human, taken far too soon by the insidious COVID-19 virus. Thank you, @donnammorrissey for your passion to make this world a better place, first introduced to me through our multi-year blood drives with @necntv and the @americanredcross, and the lesson you taught One and All around you that it is perfectly fine to be unabashed in that passion. In your commitment to others, you’ve saved more lives than can be counted.

In New England, we wait til May 20th to switch the blower to the mower. Well, at least I do on my @johndeere. Good to go now - from let it snow to let it grow. ❄️🌾🦌

Today’s remote learning is 4.5 hours old and nowhere near done, but Phys Ed is a fun time of the day! April vacation definitely different than first envisioned, but no complaints here!

Day 1 of April Vacation...for me, anyway...my son’s school vacation was canceled with so many others but at least I’ll have the pleasure of helping with remote learning. This was an AWESOME start to vacation: @daniellenoyesweather made us all warm cinnamon buns while it snows outside!

Today...Keep It Plugged In! Owing to damaging wind gusts, New England power outages are at 105,000 and climbing quickly, likely to keep rising until 7 or 8 PM. Keeping your phone or device at 100% gives you a running start if you’re the next power outage.

The Easter Bunny came!!! (In our “modern family” today is our Easter) - sending love & warmth to you & Yours on this Holy Saturday, for those celebrating. This year, in particular, we at the Noyes home are thankful for the Blessing of health and the sacrifices so many are making.

Took this earlier today but I was knee deep (ok, mid shin deep) in a project so just posting now...but the little white pellets some of us saw today were “Graupel” - soft snow pellets formed when snow crystals encounter supercooled water droplets in a cold cloud.

Oh,@daniellenoyesweather, you can social distance like this all you want, even after this whole thing is over. 🔥 (am I in trouble for this post?)

Broadcasting weather from home as we social distance at @nbc10boston & @necntv surely is the result of a painful reality, but at the suggestion of @daniellenoyesweather I took the 2 commute hours a day & used part to commute on our @johndeere with our 3 angels instead.😍 Green & yellow Heaven.

There's coronavirus, Brady outta here, fires and water main breaks and then...there's a Newburyport sunrise. This, in addition to the wonderful photos you've been sending me of how you and/or your family are passing social distancing time on @NBC10Boston - keep the beauty coming, and don’t forget to keep me photographically posted on what you’re up to! 😃

Though perhaps not natural, there is some magic when your regular bedtime is before your two year old’s. There are a few specific memories I am sure will been seen & heard flashing through a highlight reel of my existence someday (hopefully a very long time from now!) - this is one of them. “Do you want me to sing you a song goodnight, Daddy?” Yes. And please always do.

While some are suffering, others lonely, some scared, many anxious & all are attentive...the peepers are peeping on this March night, the ducks are frolicking & the sunset was beautiful. May we find serenity where and when we can and harmony in the simple wonders of our world. I’m off to sleep for a few hours, see you on @nbc10boston and @necntv in the morning.

What can only be described as a spiritual experience at the grocery store. The totally empty shelves here are toilet paper, frozen veggies & water, which apparently we are discriminating about our choice of. Meteorologists are used to being the only ones to elicit this response. Other big sellers (sold out or almost gone): all cleaning supplies except Windex, all paper towels, eggs, milk, prunes (yes, prunes), pasta of nearly all types, chicken (raw, meat section), sour cream, bread. I think the prunes were my biggest surprise, frozen veggies 2nd. Yours?
