Maple Cinnamon Whipped Goat Cheese 🍁 Do I love making Cheeseboards? YES. I mean, I’ve started an entire business based on it. But this passion- turned- business of mine, stems from a long love affair of entertaining & hosting. A beautiful spread over candlelight, vibey music and conversation with my loved ones? That’s the good stuff. With that said, I’ve definitely learned some helpful tips + tricks along the way, to help make hosting a breeze. I don’t know about you, but I am running around like my hair’s on fire the hour before my guests arrive trying to make my house look like no one lives there. 😂 So, a make ahead appetizer is a MUST to help take some stress away. Here is one that I made up recently, that is so delicious, easy and V seasonal. As the queen of all the world @InaGarten says, “How Easy is that?” Ingredients: 10 ounces fresh chèvre (goat cheese) at room temp 6 ounces cream cheese 1 teaspoon of good vanilla 1 tablespoon of Maple Syrup plus a drizzle more after plated. (I used Trader Joe’s Maple Butter and it did not disappoint.) 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon plus more for garnish Pomegranate seeds Pear slices Raisin Rosemary Crisps Prosciutto Fig Jam Fresh Rosemary + Thyme for garnish Directions: Place room temp chèvre + cream cheese into a food processor. Add in cinnamon, maple syrup, and vanilla. Pulse until you get a smooth, whipped texture. Spoon onto a platter, and garnish with pomegranate seeds. Arrange crackers, fig jam, prosciutto, and pear slices evenly around the platter. Garnish with fresh herbs and pomegranate seeds. Finish by dusting with cinnamon and drizzling maple syrup over the top. There you have it!
