I hope you all had a wonderful Easter yesterday and were reminded of just how amazing God’s Love is for each and every one of us. God has so much more in store for our lives than we could ever dare to imagine. These past few months have brought uncertainty to a lot of people’s lives. Whether it’s been a job loss or fears for health and finances, sometimes we may become fearful of what the future may bring. But while we may sometimes be fearful, God will always remain faithful and will always be there with you every step of the way. As Ephesians says, God is able to do immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine. Yesterday after listening to our church’s service, I listened to another church I follow in Nashville. Their worship team played a song by @elevationworship called Graves into Gardens which I had never heard before. Now I’ve had it playing on repeat throughout the day. In the song it says, “There’s nothing better than you.” Oh how true that statement is. Nothing is better than God. Even though I’m guilty of putting other things before God sometimes, I know that God is so much better. God has given us so many amazing things in this life. Things we don’t deserve, things we take for granted, and yet he just keeps giving. And in this time of uncertainty when other things that we hold so dear are falling away like time with friends, money, job security, we know that one thing remains...the love of our Savior. I thank God for sending His Son to Earth to die on the cross for you and me. Dying a death that he didn’t deserve so that we could go free. Truly there’s nothing better than Jesus!
I always love getting to see the bridal bouquets on the wedding day. The flowers are always so pretty and ribbons always add so much elegance to the bouquet.
Anyone else out there eating way too many sweets during quarantine? I’ve definitely been eating way more than my fair share Oreos these past few days.
Think about all those things that you’ve been wanting to do but never have had the time to. Maybe you’ve wanted to learn to cook so you can throw a big dinner party for friends. Maybe you’ve always wanted to start a blog or learn to knit. Now you have the opportunity. So take some of that extra time you may have at the moment and try something you’ve always been dreaming of. And if it’s learning to cook set a dinner date with friends for when this is over so you can show off some of your new skills! . . .
