If we can’t travel, we’ll bring the food to us. Vietnamese fridays in Leyton thanks to @hanoikitchen tonight 💛 (serious reminiscing over our Vietnam travels right now though and needed some sunshine yellow on the grid now summer has decided to leave us)
Back in the studio. Celebrating with tea.

Cycled past many of these wonderful landmarks at the weekend so it felt very apt to share this illustration I created for sewing pattern brand @seasons_of_east
A 25 mile cycle around London in lockdown. Such a beautiful and peaceful city with no tourists 💙
Seeing an increase in mailing and subscription box enquiries of late. Love to see how businesses are adapting and trying to find opportunity in such “unprecedented times”. At the start of lockdown I had pretty much all my projects halted as brands feared the future of their businesses. It’s slowly picking up again and there’s certainly plenty of conversations. I’m in total admiration of the fight for survival and determination I’m hearing directly from founders. The positivity and willpower is infectious💪🏼#inthistogether Mailing box designed for @wearewomanhood
Still one of my favourite shoots, back in the studio with @taraliondaris & @sophieswooshes for @lydiashairsupplement 💜
Bank holiday spent improving our bedroom, hoping it will help me sleep better. A calming dusty pink wall with warming terracotta accents and leafy foliage. Everything does take a lot longer when you DIY and maybe it’s the designers in us but we take a lot of enjoyment from the process. And the rewards are even better.
Missing studio life and normality this week. Can’t wait to return to our little shipping container workspace when the only real worries were whether we had coffee in or not. Well apart from the leak we had – that was pretty rubbish but now a distant blur in my memory! 2020 has been testing alright but I’m trying to see the positives in health, friendship, family and business. I’ve been using downtime to invest in my own brand and to update my website with recent work which feels good. I also launched a new personal project called @foundingnotes to celebrate brilliant female founders and to talk openly about the business of branding. Who knows what the next few months will hold for us all, it makes it so impossible to plan and I bloody love a good plan. Stay positive, friends! 🤞🏻
