On Friday, we said goodbye to our cook Sam who has been with us for 20 years. Our new Head Boy and Head Girl presented Sam with flowers and a leaving gift - we will miss you tremendously!
Luckily for us, Sam is not leaving us completely and will still be part of the After School Club team.

Well done to all of our Year 6 children who put themselves forward for Head Boy and Girl! The children prepared and performed speeches, took part in group interviews and even practised their assembly hosting skills. They have all shown real bravery and determination and we have been so impressed with each and every one of them.

Children across the school presenting some of the amazing learning their class has been doing as part of Black History Month. As you can see from the wall behind them, this work will form the basis of all of our displays this term. The children have really enjoyed learning about the achievements of a range of inspirational figures and will continue to this throughout the year.

Year 4 showing off their enquiry learning using their shields to form 'the wedge' - an important military tactic used by the Roman army. The children created their own shields and decorated them with symbols of the gods and images to represent victory - just like real Roman legions would have done.
