I switched to non-toxic skin and haircare in 2013. This was also the year when I went vegan, stopped using nail polish and stopped coloring my hair. I started loving and appreciating myself the way I am without my piercings, my colored hair and my make up. Being in silent meditation for 30 days, and living in the mountains of Greece for a week without electricity and the everyday luxury made me realize what self-love and self-care really mean to me. . It's removing all toxins from my life and fueling my body, mind, and soul with healthy positive things instead. What's your favorite non-toxic beauty brand and product for hair care, skincare or makeup?
Unlike most families, we decided not to own a car. Maybe one day we'll own one but for the last 5+ years, we rarely needed one. Instead of driving around by car we walk around, ride our bicycles & use public transportation. Would it be more convenient to own a car? Yes, sometimes it definitely would be, but not having a car is more in alignment with our lifestyle. . It forces us to move our bodies daily which is one of our health goals and it supports us to be conscious about what we buy. We only buy what we really need. If I need it and it fits in my backpack I'll buy it. This way we aren't hoarding things at home and reduce also our food waste. . Walking to the store instead of driving by car and riding my bicycle makes me also grateful for small things that most of us oftentimes take for granted but are truly amazing. For example, having 2 healthy feet that carry us through life everywhere we wanna go. . What are you doing differently to most people that support your health, reminds you to be grateful or makes you more conscious?

I'm not traveling. I'm still writing my master thesis. For the past 3months and the upcoming 6weeks. . Would I love to feel the ocean breeze, see the palm trees and feel the sand below my feet? Sure! . Am I unhappy because I'm not at the beach but writing my thesis instead? Absolutely not! . As much as I love the ocean and palm trees and as crazy as it might sound I’m truly enjoying the process of reaching my goal. . It was my intentional choice to stay at home and to opt for the thesis this summer and I’m all in! . I have a clear goal and a deadline in front of me and all I'm doing is walking step by step towards my goal every single day in an easy and relaxed way. . This messy middle of putting my head down and doing the work that's the process, it's part of the success and can be easy, enjoyable and awesome! . All you need is to have is a clear plan in place and taking action towards your goal every single day. Step by Step. . This way even a huge workload as researching, reading several books and writing a Thesis of 120 pages while being a mom and running a blog can be broken down into small steps, and done on time with ease. . What goals are you currently working towards?

I remember a few years back spending my entire weekend watching documentaries about various countries and cultures on @arte.tv , and @wdr . . It was a documentary marathon that started on Saturday morning went through the night until Sunday evening. And I just couldn't stop. Seeing those amazing cultures and countries captured my heart and soul. . It was at the time when I was stuck in my corporate job. I remember how it inspired me to save up money, quit the job and to discover all those places by myself. So I did! . One of the amazing places I 've been to and loved was Bali. I took the photo of the rice field terrace after a 20-miles bicycle ride downhill across the island. A lot of time has passed since then, and a lot of things have changed but I still hold these precious travel memories in my heart. Bali is definitely a place I fell in love with and want to visit again. Next time together with my family :) . Which places did you fell in love with and would recommend visiting?
Today it was really hard to get myself to work for my master thesis. I had so many thoughts that wanted me to stop working and rather sit in the trees outside enjoying the sunshine. But it's raining anyway. So I pushed through the barrier, wrote a few pages so I could finish the chapter, made an action plan for tomorrow and now I'm taking a rest with a gigantic chocolate smoothie :) . Sometimes we need to take a little break in order to recharge. . What's your favorite way to relax?
