Here’s my take on setting big goals. Set them but don’t hang your worth on achieving them. Whenever I tell my clients to let go of the outcome, it can feel like I’ve ripped the rug right out from underneath them because that’s what we’ve been conditioned to do. Make the A’s, land the great job, receive gleaming performance reviews, get all the praise.. outcome outcome outcome outcome. Why have a goal if you aren’t going to stay laser focused on the outcome? Set the big goal so you can become the woman who can achieve that goal. Become the woman who thinks differently, solves problems, thinks more creatively, falls down a lot along the way and gets back up to keep chipping away at making the “never been done before” as good as done. The future you knows how to achieve that big goal. Your job is to become her.

Is there anything you are a bit insecure about? If you’re anything like me, something immediately came to mind! For me, it’s that I’m a recovering procrastinator. I have struggled to show up and create more in my business if I thought I couldn’t do it perfectly….whatever that even means. And being in quarantine my procrastination has really flared up! I’m likely to choose cookies and Netflix over work, these days. 🍪 Here’s what I’ve been doing to get off the couch and out of procrastination mode: I’ve been focusing on taking the next small step toward a goal, instead of focusing on the BIG end result AND I remind myself on the regular that I am a human with a human brain that just wants me to be safe. And apparently unproductive 🤣 and that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with me. What are you insecure about, and how do you overcome it? Regardless of what it is, know this friend: you are enough! . 📸 @themandiann
There’s something I ❤️ about #quarantinelife- people are more real now than ever before. No more nail tips, hair extensions or lashes. We’ve got the greys, the sweats and the “fresh” faces on display. Perfection is off the table and real is where it’s at and I’m here for it. What’s something you love about the way we are living our lives right now?
