One of many weddings we have seen that have had to change their plans multiple times due to Covid. We constantly feel for these couples who envisioned their big wedding day and were forced to change their ideas, dates and the scale of their wedding to fit the times, but what we have seen has been absolutely heart-warming. It's been a while since we last posted. Obviously, Covid-19 hit us and our industry hard like so many others across the country and the world. We are so sad for so many reasons during this horrible pandemic. We are so sad for all the brides and grooms who meticulously planned their weddings and looked forward to their big day, only to have to postpone or cancel. We are so sad for all the people out there suffering from this virus or who have lost loved ones to this virus. Like everyone else, never in our lifetime did we think we would ever face anything like this and we pray for everyone out there who is affected directly or indirectly. We took time away and concentrated on a personal project where we spent a month filming a nest of baby great-horned owls. We watched them grow and leave the nest and it was very therapeutic. It helped us cope with all the uncertainties and fears we were, and still are, facing. A couple of days ago we had our first shoot since March and it felt strange to be back out there. It was a maternity shoot for a couple that we love and photographed their wedding back in 2014. They are welcoming their second child this September and we couldn't be more excited for them! It was so nice getting back and there and feeling some excitement and joy again. Hoping everyone feels that again sooner than later.
