Had to share this little wallpaper moment! The layering of patterns is a fine art, and one I truly enjoy practicing! This is one of our soon to be launched Wallcoverings with @markforrestdynasty and is named Simplicity. Clearly #moreismore is a mantra I chant 🥰😉 fabric on the chaise is from @radgdesign and the malachite topped table is from @globalviews (sadly discontinued 😢) and that sprig of Aloe Vera was a gift from my sissy 😘

Yesterday’s beautiful piece from #VintageSquared was this circa 19th c chest of drawers - found at a garage sale and then refinished, the hardware is French, and the feet (carved monopodium) are the biggest indicator of age - a Monopodium foot is usually found on Empire pieces.

#vintagesquared today we stop in at @michelleworkmanhome and see a sweet and summery wicker chair circa 1970’s, the seat reupholstered in a cane inspired chintz from Duralee - wearing a Mexican inspired dress also circa 1970’s, vintage bone and cellulose bangles and (current) @dereklam ankle tie shoes. As seen in yesterday’s #vintagesquared video - A circa 1940’s channel back slipper chair, with cabriole legs and a lovely wide and low seat. Reupholstered in a fuschia cotton print - legs were kept a la naturel, and not refinished. Found this beauty in a thrift store in Nevada, 20+ years ago! 💕💕💕

The beginning of a new design for a house in Florida... starting with a color palette and defining it with fabrics - my own version of a #layeredlook. Right now all these fabrics have equal value, but by the time I’m finished they will have different intensity and function and will tell the story of the homeowners.

Today’s project? Sourdough bread from scratch. I have been making the starter since Monday, feeding it to bubbly fermentation.
