I do not expect anyone to show up and know what they are doing, in fact I would be surprised if you did! I love to think of engagement sessions as a fun date night with your partner that I am just joining you in on. I am here to guide and pose you for those candid images, play some music and forget about everything else! Don’t overthink it and take your shoot too seriously & just have some fun. That is exactly what these two did & we created some magic💫

Grace + Nick met when they were travelling separately with friends in Rome at a bar, and instantly hit it off. They knew each other for a day & that was it! Nick was from the UK & Grace was from Vancouver, but since the night they met, they talked everyday. A few months later on a whim, Nick decided to come & visit Grace for 2 weeks in Vancouver to see if what they had was the real deal. They told me last night that saying goodbye after those 2 weeks was one of the hardest things they had to do. G & N continued to do long distance for 3 years & after such a long period of time Nick made the move to Vancouver! They have now been together for 6 years & are going to tie the knot next summer✨ They both LOVE to hike & travel so they incorporated that into their engagement shoot! Hearing amazing stories like theirs seriously makes my heart burst!!
