Should there be a clear policy on what apps are used in the school or should teachers have freedom to use what they want? This crowd wants freedom. #tabletdays19 #appleeduchat
Kicked off a @seppoio tour with 20 Dutch teachers in London today. Great way to group teachers from different schools together and challenge them to see new ways of using mobile technologies in the classroom.

Yesterday we ended a design thinking session on “the future-proof teacher” with a fireside chat. 🔥 One of the main features of the future-proof teacher is having the flexibility to use the right tools and pedagogical strategies at the right time. Have you and your students looked at the excellent #EveryoneCanCreate learning guides yet? I’m at Apple today planning workshops on getting creativity into Dutch schools.
Today I lead a workshop using the hexagonal thinking methodology to brainstorm how the school can improve a sense of ownerships amongst the students. The hexagonal thinking methodology is a great way to create a shared sense of understanding and move from the why to how to what. Action plans were then pitched to the rest of the school staff. Can’t wait to see the results play out in the classroom. #activerendedidactiek #hexagonalthinking #hexagontiles #ownership #bottomup
A full day of speakers at #TEDxAmsterdamED can be a challenge for the brain. Sketchnoting helps me stay focused and remember much more from the event. Here is what I heard today. Made with the Paper app and an Apple Pencil. #sketchnotes #everyonecancreate
