• Big bridal parties are a special kind of group. I LOVE small parties, don't get me wrong - that's what I had at my wedding! - but there's a special feeling of being surrounded by the most pumped up hype team that makes the day that much more fun. There's nothing better than having your best friends surround you as you marry the love of your life. So whether that's 2 or 20 people, I AM READY!!!

  • Personal post comin’ in hot! (That’s me on the left, and my beautiful wife Chelsea on the right, for those who are new here!) Today I am celebrating the 5th anniversary of marriage equality! 🏳️‍🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 To think that when I was 22, marrying my wife still wasn’t a possibility, is just plain wild. To think that this is still so fresh is sometimes mind-blowing. Chelsea and I are SO LUCKY to have had so many brave, selfless fighters of social justice come before us so that we may be able to sign this piece of paper. “No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice, and family. In forming a marital union, two people become something greater than once they were. As some of the petitioners in these cases demonstrate, marriage embodies a love that may endure even past death. It would misunderstand these men and women to say they disrespect the idea of marriage. Their plea is that they do respect it, respect it so deeply that they seek to find its fulfillment for themselves. Their hope is not to be condemned to live in loneliness, excluded from one of civilization’s oldest institutions. They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law.   • Personally, I think there should be a national Hug-Your-Wedding-Planner day. Without them, I'd be lost and my couples would be stressed as heck! The awesome team at Some Like It Classic pulled off this epic wedding at El Chorro last fall and they NAILED it.
