One of those exploding heart mama moments. Also, had to document the first of many matching outfits🌻#sisters
Since Zoey arrived it’s been so much fun to finally be able to pick Emma up and run around with her without a big pregnant belly getting in the way. It’s been so long since I was able to be physical with her so I’m making a point of not being the one to stop the fun because I’m tired or out of breath 😅 I think we both enjoy having me back in an unpregnant state. Although our idea of normal changed to include a newborn, no sleep and a house in compete disorder!
I used to spend a lot of time discussing how exciting it would be if I won the lottery. Now I spend most of my time talking about how exciting it would be if my kids got up and fed themselves breakfast in the morning without my help. I honestly don’t know which one is more exhausting... a newborn who doesn’t move but needs constant feeding, holding and changing. Or a toddler who is incessantly in motion from the moment she wakes up to the moment she falls asleep. Like a fully-charged Duracell bunny unable to stop. Personally, I’ve found the toddler stage way more tiring than the newborn stage ever was. I’ve heard the same from a lot of friends too. One friend recently said “newborns are wasted on first time moms!” Who agrees? 🙋🏻♀️ Anyhoo, running on no sleep today! But it’s okay. It’s all going to be okay 😅 . . . . . #healthypregnancy #postpartum #postpartumjourney #postpartumlife #2under2club #girlmom #fourthtrimester #mommyblogger #7weeksold
