The number one thing holding people back is the fear that the online space, coaching, and using social media for business building is over saturated. . ❓How will I stand out? ❓Why will people buy from me when Karen has a bigger following & Joey has professional video/lighting? ❓Isn’t it too late? . I hear you & I challenge you to this one question… . ⁉️How is it that there are quite literally coffee shops on every dang corner?⁉️ . I’m talking like Starbucks on the same block as Gregory’s with another Starbucks on the opposite corner. 🗺 . ⬇️ THE COFFEE SHOP METHOD ⬇️ . ☕️ ENVIRONMENT - how does the space/page, staff/coach make you feel . ☕️ VOICE - are you aligned with the mission & values of the company/brand . ☕️ LOCATION - is it convenient for you, does it appear “on your way”/during your scroll; front & center/top of mind . ☕️ EXPERIENCE - ummm, that’s self explanatory . ☕️ QUALITY - does the product, course, program, offer exceed your expectations . ☕️ REPUTATION - what do other people think, does it work, do they like it, have others had a good experience . At the end of the day, a coffee shop on every corner is simply PROOF that there is a massive DEMAND for coffee & people are willing/ready to BUY! 🤩 . So, if you think your space is over saturated… .   • Lessons I’ve learned from ✌🏼months on the road in our motor home! . 1️⃣ Emptying the 💩 tank isn’t actually that bad (thanks @mike.derose for being the one to do it hehe) . 2️⃣ Texas is absolutely massive 🤠 & Austin was definitely as cute as everyone says . 3️⃣ Living a nomadic life is a 100% a life of freedom; HOWEVER, actually requires tons of planning 🗓 . 4️⃣ Our NYC apartments 🌇 made us small space living pros . 5️⃣ We have a whole new respect & understanding for truckers 🚚 #truckerlife . 6️⃣ Filling the ⛽️ gas tank for $40 seems like an urban legend at this point . 7️⃣ Apparently 5G towers 📲 are actually quite uncommon; don’t take good WiFi for granted . 8️⃣ Having an “escape car” 🛺 to adventure with should be a non-negotiable #jeepgang . 9️⃣ Once you leave East Coast time zones, you’re just always behind 🤦🏼‍♀️ . 🔟 Seeing old friends & meeting clients IRL 👯‍♀️ throughout each state has been the absolutely icing on the cake . *️⃣ BONUS: This truly has been a deep practice of letting go, surrendering, & recognizing the small amount that I can control .   • Stop focusing on WHEN. Start focusing on WHY. . You don’t need to know the HOW. You need to trust that it WILL. . Whenever someone asks my favorite quote, I always use this one from Steve Jobs. It hits home. It just makes sense. . If even just 5 years ago you told me that ⤵️ . I’d be traveling the country in an RV with my husband whom I retired, running a multi-million dollar company , with a team of 11 & speaking to the masses about business/entrepreneurship/marketing... . 🚫 Well, I NEVER would have believed you. 🚫 . That was never my path, never even fully my dream. . My purpose & passion has always been IMPACT through TEACHING! . So, let’s take a scroll 👈🏼 down 5 years of December 5th memories (thanks FB) & peep the WHY!!!! . 2015 ➡️ COMMUNITY: I launched a free 8-week course for women to connect & focus on themselves. My goal was 35...I woke up to 700 women overnight. . This course is what then created FITtrips, my first “real company” & thousands of lives changed. . 2016 ➡️ ALIGNMENT & PURPOSE: After toying with the idea of quitting my secure teaching job for 1 month (after the famous “worst case scenario” podcast I always refer to) I was walking down the hallway in school & THIS image stopped me dead in my tracks. . That night I finalized my decision to leave & gave notice after coming back from winter break. . 2017 ➡️ CREDIBILITY & PASSION: My first (8 page spread/covers) of many magazine/TV appearances. . My goal had been -“household name trainer” impacting the globe through health/fitness. . 2018 ➡️ OPPORTUNITY SHARING: Speaking to a room of hundreds of trainers about my “cute side hustle” of heath/fitness coaching online... . The few friends I had been helping for fun turned into Empower U(niversity) & has served over 300 clients; creating over $6 million in revenue for THEM! . 2019 ➡️ IMPACT: Speaking to a room of entrepreneurs, sharing the ups/down, challenges, & advice. . Helping more people help more people #rippleffect . Lessons I’ve learned ⤵️ . 1️⃣ Dec 5th is apparently a big day in my life 2️⃣ Wins & losses are really just lessons 3️⃣ Practice being focused on your goal while detaching from the how/outcome .
