We are still thankful this family put their trust in us and said yes to this blue kitchen. Love.
We are so excited to launch our inaugural Joy By Design project for #MLKDayOfService on January 21st. The non-profit arm of our firm, Joy By Design, in conjunction with local CEBA (Caucus of Emory Black Alumni) chapter of Emory University, will paint and decorate the dining room, kitchen, and hallway at Ruby’s Place. Ruby’s Place is a non-profit agency in Hayward providing shelter and support services for families and individuals who experience domestic violence and human trafficking. Interested in volunteering or donating? Contact us or visit our website to learn more (link in bio).
Don’t be afraid of color or patterns, just go for it! Taking a look back at my daughter’s old nursery, where has the time gone? 😫
Brunch is an Oakland staple and Grand Lake Kitchen delivers every time (and they are conveniently located by our new office 😊). The Chilaquiles Verde are yum. Not to mention their cocktail menu is on point. pc: @grandlakekitchen
If you haven’t noticed, wallpaper has made a comeback. This time with better and bolder patterns. Which we love. ❤️ Instead of hanging art, transform the mood of the room by using a bold wallpaper.
This niche was a perfect place to add a contrasting pattern to this shower. What you can’t see in this picture is it’s actually the tile for the floor.
Happy New Year from Joy Street Design! Thank you for an amazing year and we look forward to a fabulous 2019.
We’re sharing this remodel we did back in 2017 because we still love it. What we like most about the design is the sleek modern lines and the dark wood contrasting with the whites. Check out the before and after pics of this project on our recent blog post. Link in bio.
We love color and Behr Paint unveiled their 2019 Color of the Year: Blueprint S470-5. Considering we used a similar color in our first project years ago, I’d have to agree that it’s an awesome color.
Just add baby. 👶🏽 Beautiful 📷: @idrisandtony
