I got a present for myself for Christmas 2019 - the new #nikonz7 ( note on that: it's so rewarding to gift yourself from time to time - highly recommend it!) As a result, I gave my old camera with a kit lens to my teen. But as the photographer that I am, I am teaching him to shoot in Manual mode and think before shooting. Might be the perfectionist in me or the control freak, who knows? Week #3 of #isolation brings us a project for his @prairiewinds4h club: he chose pasta making and needs to document photos for the project. While I am in charge of taking the photos (no one wants to see dirty hands on a camera, am I right?!) he is doing an amazing job at cooking. Best part was when he told me: 'Mom, I don't get why people ask me what can I cook... If I have the recipe, I can cook anything!' #blesshisheart #littlecook #teenchef
Works in progress. First one is by my oldest, David, and the second one is by my youngest, Lucas. I am so proud of them.
I hope everyone is practicing social distancing and touching base with your loved ones! Our house has currently 2 adults working from home and two kids that are learning to adapt to homeschooling. Thank goodness for grandparents that can help us out! And for brotherly times like this when David helps Lucas to read. 📖❤️
