It’s not every day that you work on a western themed photo shoot. Here’s a sneaky peek from yesterday’s shoot. It looks like it’s going to be another scorcher today which means that florists all over the country will be wrapping up warm so they can keep their shops cold for the flowers 😂 I thought it would be a good excuse to throw back to this gorgeous table design that we made at @didsburyhouse_11didsburypark for their open day in January. This table centre gives height but doesn’t block the view across the table which is very important so that your guests can all enjoy each other’s company at your wedding. We still have a few dates for this year and next year so get in touch before the dates get snapped up 📸 @shanewebberphotography
This evening we had the pleasure of hosting a spring flower wreath workshop at @littlegreenepaintcompany in Manchester. We loved creating this design with ranunculus, muscari, tulips, viburnum gelder rose, upper secret roses and wax flower. It was a great to see how proud everybody was of their finished designs and have a nosey at their beautiful range of paints and wallpapers. I want to redecorate the whole house now!
Flowers can’t solve all problems. But they are a great start 🙌
‘Just because’, ‘sorry you’re under the weather’, ‘you’re the bees knees’ ‘happy hump day’ are just some of the reasons people have been sending our new ‘flower lunge pick’ bouquet which comes simply wrapped in paper with an @ecofreshbouquet to keep it hydrated so it is all good for the environment. You can order it online, on the phone or pop in to our Didsbury shop 📸 @jonnydraperfoto
It is disappointing that the @bbcbreakfast team didn’t do their research before a flippant comment made the other day about a premium being put on wedding flowers (swipe right to see the original @britishfloristassociation post). I can assure you that the price doesn’t go up as soon as the word wedding is mentioned, far from it. Quite often around 20 hours of work goes in to a wedding before we even start to create the designs and of course, only the finest stems are used for wedding flowers. We are fortunate that our couples recognise our skill and expertise. We are passionate about wedding flowers and our brides and grooms deserve the best 😘 This beautiful photo was taken by @naomi.kenton.photography at @colshaw_hall_cheshire
