Those last shots of the day are my favourite. Dusk/witching hour/golden hour....whatever you call it, to end with a few shots where we connect with the sun setting on your wedding day. Bliss as a photographer
Sunday’s are filled with laying on the sofa and watching #mindhunter. But the sun beaming in through the small crack in the curtain reminds me of the balmy #brightonwedding where Cally & Laurence buster shapes in the super kitsch backroom of #southernbellebrighton
Calmly & Laurence got married at the bandstand and then we walked round for some margaritas and food at @southernbellebrighton. When the owner revealed she had a key for the beautiful and abandoned church across the road. Well decision made: couples portraits in the church then! What a splendid surprise to the already incredible day!
💘WEDDING SQUAD ASSEMBLE💘
Couple portraits aren’t about me. They aren’t about my camera either. They are about you two connections, having a break from the craziness of your wedding day, and remembering why you put a ring on it in the first place! ❤️ Nearly all my couples say “I hate having my photo taken” and I can’t argue: I do too!! However, I make the couple portraits about YOU. Having a laugh, remembering good memories and capturing you as a couple
Few weeks back I had the pleasure of capturing the totally wild adventure of Jan & Dan. #cardenwedfest was out of this world. Think tipi festival setting, glitter bars, 15+ flower girls & page boys, @vowedandamazed galore, Spider-Man playing football, @krispykremeuk donuts & SO MUCH MORE
Another promise: I WILL make you stand by random signs and entrances. My favourite sign along #brightonbeach is this old tarot reader sign!
Couple portraits should be informal, fun and like they aren’t even happening. That’s why when Tracy & Lee suggested grabbing a pint quickly before they went and put a ring on it, I said hell yes!
Nothing says love than an intimate elopement In #brighton
