A logo without thought, intention, or strategy just doesn't work. That's why we focus so much at the beginning of a Branding project on the Brand Strategy. We get clear on the story, hopes and dreams, mission, values, audience, and competition (among mannny other things). Taking the time to focus on strategy builds a solid foundation for the brand to rest on as it grows and develops. Then, we infuse that strategy and intention into the Brand Design itself. Everything has purpose and has been strategically considered. We're working on so many lovely brands right now and I can't wait to share more of the strategic thought behind them. Stay tuned 💕!
This year has been amazing for Rhema Design Co. I've seen so much growth, and I'm excited to continue that growth next year! Late last year I put together a slots calendar and laid out timelines for every project I'd work on this year. I had all projects starting on a Monday. But, because of the way my timelines work, that put many deadlines on a Monday. That meant I was almost always working over the weekend to meet the deadline. Recently, I started shifting start dates to Wednesdays, which I hope will help me enjoy my weekends a bit better! This just goes to show we're always learning and it's ok for business processes to evolve and shift.
I just recently fully wrapped up this project by mailing out the notecards! This was a fun one because I had the chance to provide a ton of collateral items - social media templates, a presentation template, notecards & envelopes, and even branded stock photography by @kayley_lorraine. I Loove larger scale projects like this that allow me to have a hand in carrying the brand out through more than just logos, colors, and typography, but tangible items that improve their own clients experience! 💕
