Our advent wreath is handmade using foliage collected from our own school grounds. You can see the holly and the ivy, rosemary, honesty and rose hips. The five candles represent the four Sundays of Advent plus a fifth candle for Christmas Day. The first four candles represent: hope, peace, joy and love. The fifth candle represents Christ himself.
Tomorrow in Church we will light the first candle and sing the first verse of The Holly and the Ivy (one verse each time we light a candle).

Yesterday we celebrated the official opening of our Top Garden. It was a lovely opportunity to come together and thank all of the people in our community who helped us to create our garden - it really is a special place.
