  • Hey friends! It’s been a hot minute since my last post. Sorry for leaving you hanging! I’ve had my head down these last few weeks catching up on client work, redoing my website, and developing a ton of new content for you! Im excited to share everything soon, but for now, I wanted to reintroduce my business to you all. That might sound a little odd, but I’ve heard something recently said by multiple people across industries. And I figured the fact that I kept hearing it meant I needed to sit up and pay attention. Here’s the advice: Find your niche, and then niche down again. Something finally clicked in my head. It seems so obvious, but when you’re building your business you want to get as much work as possible and help as many people as possible. But I’ve realized the focus that I want for my copywriting business so that I can really provide value to my clients. So, here it goes: Creatives Write is officially specializing in content marketing for creative entrepreneurs! I’ve found that I’m most on fire and inspired with my writing when I’m helping my clients connect with their audience. So, have you found your niche, my friends?   • “If they give you ruled paper, write the other way.” - Juan Ramon Jimenez . I first heard this quote while listening to the Fahrenheit 451 audiobook and it really struck me. . So often in the creative industry you see people doing things a certain way and succeeding. You’re inspired by them, and try to emulate them in your own business. But it’s always going to fall short because it’s not authentically YOU. . I’ve been thinking a lot about my own business and how I have wanted a certain aesthetic that’s not quite me. So you might see some changes in the overall look and feel of my brand and website. I’m not a branding expert, but I want my personality to shine through. . Today I’m deciding to give myself permission to be different and to “write the other way.” . Do you ever feel like this when it comes to your business?
