Put a finger down if you’re notorious for forgetting to post on social media, and then wake up one morning, realizing you should post, but then forget again, and just repeat this process for like 3 weeks and finally decided today is the day you post & are going to call it a “much needed break from Instagram”....⠀ ⠀ Puts all fingers down.... 🤦♀️ ⠀ ⠀ Happy fake Monday! Anyone else full struggle bus after the quarantine long weekend? ⠀ ⠀ PS: posting this rainy day session cause I’m half way over the heat and it’s barely started.

MAN DO I MISS THE HORIZON. Am I being dramatic, yes. Do I get that the skies seem a little bluer and clearer since we all went inside, yes. My manager sent me this beautiful poem, that I found a lot of condolence in, thought I’d share: “And then the whole world walked inside and shut their doors and said we will stop it all. everything.⠀ To protect our wearier ones, our sicker ones, our older ones. and nothing, nothing in the history of humankind ever felt more like love than this.” I would even to say to protect our earth in that line - but you get the point. I hope this brought you a little calm, a little reminder on why you are doing what you are doing in quarantine. To protect others the best way we can. ⠀ ♥️♥️♥️

Even in the dark, love will always find a way through. ⠀ ⠀ Just a little Monday reminder, that even in the craziest times - the people you love will pull you through.⠀ ⠀ Tag your loved ones below & show them a little love. ⠀ ⠀ I’ll start, @latinothunda, you hella cute, thank you for loving me. ❤️

Today, I would have been prepping to leave to Portugal on Sunday. A week in Lisbon for work & fun. ⠀ ⠀ While I’m sad I’m not going to be eating lots of pastéis de natas and bifanas - I am happy that I am healthy, safe an able to work from home. ⠀ ⠀ If you were handed a plan ticket to anywhere, where would go?

Truly, like everyone else - I’ve started to bake bread. But because I have no patience for these sourdough starter and yeast making recipes - I’ve gone the ghetto fab route of making beer bread. Three ingredients: 3 cups of self rising flour, 1/2 cup of sugar, one 12 onz beer of your choice. Mix & viola - beer bread. From there, get creative - I added cheese, garlic and rosemary to feel classy. Pro tip: drink beer while making beer bread. Other tip: don’t count the calories when you eat it all. This is not a fit-recipe. This is an eat your feelings kinda thing. Cheers 🍻 friends.
