Last night’s concert with the DCYAP was at Georgetown University. It is so old and gorgeous, the halls almost creaked with all the past presidents and prime ministers that have walked its halls.
DC’s own cathedral on a cloudy day. It suffered over 30 million dollars in damage from an earthquake ten years ago.

Finally had a weekend to explore DC! Honestly the first thing I thought of when I saw the Capitol was the Red Square in Moscow. It’s like both squares are trying to compete for whose takes longer to walk across. Can’t wait to be back to see more of this area when everything is open.
Just trying to find the beauty of what’s around me right now, in this moment. Life goes so quickly and we so rarely find time to take in the little things.
