Itโs important to have a plan in place in case you feel upset or troubled by posts that you have shared or seen. This could be time away from a screen, unfollowing someone or talking to someone you trust. This character was designed by Caleb during one of our recent #chatsafe workshops with young people. #MentalHealth #SuicidePrevention #SelfCare #StayConnected #ItsOkayNotToBeOkay #MentalHealthAwareness #EndTheSilence #Tips

During our last virtual #chatsafe workshop, one of the young people, Sophie, explored how it can feel to reach out to someone for the first time. She wrote this beautiful poem to express how something as simple as having a conversation can feel like a weight lifted off your shoulders ๐ค #MentalHealth #SuicidePrevention #StayConnected #ItsOkayNotToBeOkay #MentalHealthAwareness #EndTheSilence

The students we worked with at @rmituniversity helped us develop new content. Throughout the year we were very impressed with what they created and how insightful their reflections on the #chatsafe co-design process were. They helped us come up with ways to share stories of hope and recovery safely, how to keep social media as a safe space for everyone, and ways we can practice self-care online and offline. We can't wait to share their ideas with you! Share with us how you practice self-care online and offline by commenting on this post. #MentalHealth #SuicidePrevention #SelfCare #StayConnected #ItsOkayNotToBeOkay #MentalHealthAwareness #EndTheSilence
